The Image Mechanics studio is designed to perform double duty as a gallery space. Outfitted with a state of the art picture rail and movable lighting, the long rectangular space makes a perfect viewing environment for large prints. Our front counter works great as a bar and the hair and makeup room becomes a good staging place for food.
On February 16, 2008, we held our grand opening photo show featuring work from our capture clients. The show was a huge success and turnout was fabulous. In choosing the best paper for each image, the show quickly became a test bed for the latest papers such as Museo Crane Silver Rag, Ilford Gold Fibre Silk and Harman Warmtone FB AI.
The show's success led to a joint venture with 5th and Sunset Studios where we printed an additional 11 images from their studio clients.
